pictures of children: dispute

[edit]

It is claimed here that the pics of children were taken "often" in attendance of the parents. I don't think there is any evidence for this. Suspekt (talk) 13:35, 14 January 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Dodgson

[edit]

Every Carrollian knows that the "g" in Dodgson's name is silent. It is not pronounced. It is not supposed to be pronounced. It might be pronounced by some other people with the same name. Doesn't matter. This was discussed at length as far back as 2014, archived now, but it is still there. What can we do to stop people wrecking the IPA? -- Evertype· 16:37, 26 June 2024 (UTC)[reply]

You could insert an invisible comment. pillowcrow 17:09, 26 June 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Unclosed template

[edit]

It's the third of three citation needed span templates in the section Speculation of sexual conduct by scholars (1940s onwards). It was closed to the end of the paragraph at one point, but there is now a paywalled reference there, so I can't tell if it should be moved back further or simply deleted. The cn was added on 19 October 2024 and a reference was inserted on 22 November 2024 without the closing double braces. Assuming the new citation verified the text, the second diff should have removed the cn. You should be able to get free access to JSTOR. At WP:LIBRARY, follow the "Get free access to research" link.
